Future of automatised book scanning ?

Video & Source : WIRED

"It's easy to rip your CDs and turn them into easily stored digital files: You pop in a CD, click a few buttons, done. Now try ripping a book into a digital format. Struggling? Here's setup you'll wish you had.

All you have to do is flip the pages of a book and they're captured at 500 frames per second. Then the images get adjusted, straightened, and turned into perfectly scanned ebooks. Is it insane? Yes. Do I wish I could do that with all of my old books? Yes!"
